Write Blog Post Comments in Indian Languages
If you have a blog which directs to Indian crowd then you can offer your readers the feature of commenting in Indian languages. The Plugin which adds this feature on your wordpress blog is Indic Comment.
Indic Comment is a Wordpress plugin that enables your visitor to write comments in Indian languages. Currently this plugin supports Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Arabic (not Indian, I know). Indic Comment plugin basically use Google’s translation service for the translation. Users write in normal roman script and the plugin converts it automatically to the user’s desired language. It has a toggle shortcut key and by pressing Ctrl+G it will toggle between english and the chosen indian langueage.
Indic Comment is an easy to install wordpress plugin and you need not to be an expert in order to install it. Also, you can change settings of this plugin on your admin panel.
Indic Comment translates from phonetic English. So, you need to write in the desired language but with English words and then it will convert to the target language. For example if you want Hindi, you need to write in like “Aap Kaise Hain?” and Indic Comment will translate it to Hindi language “?? ???? ???”. So, remember first you must have to write in phonetic english and then translate.
