So finally Yahoo Messenger on iPhone has been launched. You can download yahoo messenger from iPhone store or from yahoo page. Though available for some time, it has only been launched officially yesterday.

Yahoo messenger for iPhone has all its feature of its desktop version like -

1. Sharing photos from iPhone (you can also share it via Flickr)
2. Use stealth settings to control who sees you in which mode
3. Use emoticons and avatars
4. Access recent conversations archive

Most likely Microsoft also follows this and launch MSN messenger for iPhone. With the launch of these traditional desktop IM for iPhone, it will be interesting too see how they do against much older but paid instant messengers (like beejive) available for iPhone.
