The festival of Gangaur is celebrated throughout Rajasthan, in order to welcome arrival of spring. The folk women congregate to dress Gangaur images and then take them to the ceremonial procession via different city parts. The march vanishes at Gangaur Ghat and the imageries are relocated to unusual boats amidst festivity and singing. This is the time when the culture of Rajasthan is portrayed in the form of dances and songs.

T20 Worldcup 2009

The ICC T20 Worldcup is scheduled to start on 5th of June 2009 with England vs. Netherlands at Lord’s. After a comprehensive win on the first T20 Worldcup, India again roaring to be the favorite by a huge 9 wickets win on the warm-up match against Pakistan. India will play the first match against Bangladesh on June 6. But, a bad news that Sehwag may not play initial group matches due to injuries. We wish he came back at earliest and start his magic.

Maharashtra HSC Results 2009

Maharashtra (MAH) 2009 HSC Results scheduled to be declared on June 04, at 11.00 hrs. Previously the Maharashtra SCC (10th) result was declared on the same website on June 26. The HSC exam was stated from 26th of February and ended on 21th of March. Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) operated by an autonomous body and controlled under the Maharashtra State Council of Examination Act 1998 by Govt. of Maharashtra. MSCE was established in the year of 1968 and along with School Education MSCE also widely know for its Middle and High School Scholarship Examination and National Talent Search Examination which is running since more than last fifty years. Also each year MSCE organizes professional examinations like C.P.Ed., D.Ed, GCC and examination for School/ Higher Education and cultural department employees. Each year MSCE conduct around 12 different examinations at around 5000 different centers. There are around 66000 Primary Schools with 14000 Secondary Schools and 238 D.Ed Colleges including many Typewriting and Shorthand Institutes under the control of the council.
