First Year Junior College or FYJC is basically a facility that provides the students a chance to take up various education programs after passing their 10th standard from Pune Educational Board. FYJC is regulated by the Department of Education of the Government of Maharashtra, and admission to it takes places in accordance with the procedures that are defined by the Deputy Director of Education, Pune.

Apart from English, which is compulsory, economics, commerce, accountancy, mathematics, statistics, book-keeping and information technology are taught at FYJC.
