Finally CAT is becoming online in 2009-2010. It has put itself on the track of GMAT and GRE. Last year there were around 300 thousand CAT aspirants and they are growing like anything. With CAT becoming online and people getting a chance to select a date and time to give the exam, this figure of CAT aspirants will shoot up tremendously especially in case of working people. Now they will have the convenience of avoiding their working deadlines and try for a management carrier through CAT.

CAT has been known for its surprises in the exam. Every year it comes up with something no one has expected. But with the online exams it will be an all together a new ball game. The questions which are coming to the minds of the CAT aspirants are how the paper will look like, will it take more time to mark answers on computer than OMR sheet, what if the computer goes down, can we scroll through the pages, will only one question will appear on the screen at a time, will CAT will be more on luck as different questions will come to different students.. These questions will be answered by the IIMs when they will come up with the CAT forms. But one thing I can tell you is that the IIM has given the contract to the Prometric center which has the specialization in conducting online exams such as SCJP, Tofell, GRE etc. Let’s see how CAT goes this time.

If you live in delhi you have to look to get your kids to DPS schools which are run by DPS academy and are about 50 years old. The schools are renowned for its alumni, high teaching standards and the overall abilities of students and environment. There are now various DPS schools opened in India but I think there are only 4 DPS schools which are very famous, three in delhi which are DPS RK Puram, DPS Mathura Road and DPS Dwarka where as another famous DPS is DPS bokaro in bokaro steel city which has produced tons of IITians in the past including the topper in 93.

I think the biggest advantage in getting admission in DPS schools is the culture which you culture as a student, with such high level of competition, students tends to raise their level. Now with lot of DPS opening in various parts of India, people from small cities can also look to get admission in these schools.

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) formed by the Govt. of Bihar which is controlled by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Act. 1995. Each year the board conducts examination for admission to Graduate Vocational Courses in Engineering, Medical and Agriculture which is known as Bihar Combined Competitive Entrance Examinations or BCECE.

Also Post Graduate Medical Admission Test or PGMAT conducted each year by the board for admission to PG Medical Courses in different Medical Colleges of Bihar. The board also conducts entrance examination for different Certificate courses of Industrial Training Institutes of Bihar state through Combined Entrance Competitive Examination. Students from other states can also get admission as per the state quota rule. There is a special reservation for S.C., S.T., Backward Class and Armed Personnel, details is mentioned on the prospectus.

Maharashtra (MAH) 2009 HSC Results scheduled to be declared on June 04, at 11.00 hrs. Previously the Maharashtra SCC (10th) result was declared on the same website on June 26. The HSC exam was stated from 26th of February and ended on 21th of March. Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) operated by an autonomous body and controlled under the Maharashtra State Council of Examination Act 1998 by Govt. of Maharashtra. MSCE was established in the year of 1968 and along with School Education MSCE also widely know for its Middle and High School Scholarship Examination and National Talent Search Examination which is running since more than last fifty years. Also each year MSCE organizes professional examinations like C.P.Ed., D.Ed, GCC and examination for School/ Higher Education and cultural department employees. Each year MSCE conduct around 12 different examinations at around 5000 different centers. There are around 66000 Primary Schools with 14000 Secondary Schools and 238 D.Ed Colleges including many Typewriting and Shorthand Institutes under the control of the council.
