The book though came late for indiaplaza was well packed and delivered and was in good condition.

PNR Status and Ticket Cancellation
Every rail ticket has a unique PNR number, which helps you to determine all the details of your reservation, and also allows you to cancel the ticket, in case the reservation is not confirmed. There are basically three ways to check your PNR status; let’s take a look at each one of them.
The easiest way to check the PNR status is through your mobile phone. Type PNR followed by your PNR number, and send the message to either 5676747 or 54959. You can do one more thing, that is, type IRPNR followed by your PNR number and send the message to 57886.
How to Check the PNR Status
Before we go into the details of checking the PNR status, it is essential to understand what exactly is PNR. Passenger Name Record or PNR is a piece of data that is stored in the database of the Computer Reservation System of the Indian Railways. Basically, it contains the journey details of the passenger. From the technical perspective, PNR has five parts viz.
• Passenger Name
• Name and address of the travel agent
• Ticket details
• The journey details of at least one segment
• Name of the person who is making the booking
Orkut offering Mass Messaging with Promote
I am not using orkut much for months now but I just found that they have added a new Feature of Promote where you can promote your messaages to everyone. It is just mass messsge sending which was so HOT in myspace back in 2005 and then spam bots took over.
I am still not very sure why it took google to introduce this feature so late (like 5 years late) when this was already there in other such social apps. One thing which google might want to take care of is spamming as phishers would love to hack orkut accoutns to spam everyonce profile.

All You Need to Know About IRC Booking
IRC booking is an easy way to make reservation in any train of the Indian Railways. You can book any type of ticket here, from any place and that too without spending countless hours standing is a queue. Here is a step-by-step procedure of Indian Railways Corporation booking, let’s take a look.
• Go to the IRC site and register yourself. After that, login with the chosen username and password.
• ‘Plan my Travel’ webpage will appear; here you have to select the boarding and destination station, date of journey, class, and ticket type.

Registering tickets with Indian Railway
I am not a avid traveler and what ever traveling I do, I do by air as I feels indian trains are way too time consuming, I mean a 1000 KM journey can take 16 hours by superfast trains + few hours spent on coming/going to railway station and normally these trains journey are also very tiring.
My biggest problem with unconfirmed tickets is the inquiry office numbers which I always find it busy (not having PC or smartphone handy do have its consequences unfortunately) and with this online website and reservation system giving all kind of errors though I am not much more versed with it.

Pin Codes of India
So I am in mumbai now and will stay here for few months. the weather is good though its raining heavily and I am looking to send some inland letters but not able to send due to pin code problems,
This has always bothered me to get the pincodes of all cities of india, I am in mumbai right now and don’t know all the pin codes of mumbai but anyway I just made a search on ekikrat and surprisingly they do have all the mumbai pin codes including the once of suburbs like navi mumbai and thane!
