Important Things You Wanted to Know About FYJC
First Year Junior College or FYJC is basically a facility that provides the students a chance to take up various education programs after passing their 10th standard from Pune Educational Board. FYJC is regulated by the Department of Education of the Government of Maharashtra, and admission to it takes places in accordance with the procedures that are defined by the Deputy Director of Education, Pune.
Apart from English, which is compulsory, economics, commerce, accountancy, mathematics, statistics, book-keeping and information technology are taught at FYJC. Languages as Marathi, French and Hindi also form a part of the course. Promotion from FYCJ to SYJC (Second Year Junior College) solely depends upon the marks obtained in the first year. To get promotion, the student should score at least 35% in each subject. For admission to FYJC, the application form should be downloaded from the official website of FYJC, which is FYJC.org.in
