AIEEE 2009 Results

AIEEE 2009 exam which was conduced on 24th April 2009, its results will be out in the last week of May or first week of June as mentioned in CCB. The dates are still not fixed as they the time required to evaluate more then half million copies can take lot of time.

Which College to Chose in AIEEE

So AIEEE exam was conducted last weekend and in case you still haven’t noticed, you can get the AIEEE answers and Solutions and AIEEE cutoff from here.

The results for AIEEE will also be out in some weeks so going by the cutoff and results, which college will you be choosing ? I am just trying to get an idea what indian engineering colleges are hot. I know NITs like trichy, calicut, warangal, IIIT and BITS are hot favorties but because the number of seats are so limited, only very few gets into them. For the rest unlucky once, who get couple of marks less and misses out on them, they have to look for other colleges.

Top Engineering Colleges of India

I have finished my graduation a long time back so this list may not be that perfect so I need yours help in deciding which are the best engineering colleges of India. This is a tentative list and you guys can comment on the ranking and which college should be where.

I am not counting IIT’s in this since they probably are in different league but I know many NIT’s and IIITs and other colleges which are at par with IITs in terms of courses on offering, faculties, facilities and students of course.

CAT 2010 Online

This was always on the cards and about to happen. Indian Institute of Management has decided to conduct CAT aka Common Aptitude Test Online like GMAT and GRE instead of traditional 2 hour exam. This was announced back in 2008.

Overall its a good move by IIM’s as the number of aspirants was going up every year with last year almost 250 thousand people participating in CAT 2009 exam. Now with GMAT like Online MBA exam, students can chose their dates when they are comfortable taking the exam and hence the exams can be conducted in a more easy and organized manner, so not students can’t say that they had a bad day as something went wrong!

How to apply for PAN Card

In India, If you are earning any kind of money or if someone, say your grandfather or father has given you money in excess of rupees 50,000, You need to have PAN card.

To Apply for PAN card, you can get the form application from nearby Income Tax office or better, talk to some CA or accountant. They charge some fees, about Rs 50 and will do the rest.

PAN Card Status

If you are an Indian who has recently applied for PAN card (used for filing IT returns) and still haven’t got his PAN card then you can check its online status from here or here.

In this years IPL, vodafone India which is renowned for coming up with some innovative ads has again stretched the limit and have showed advertisement where humans wearing white dresses (looking alot like tellitubbies and smurfs) do short scenes. Everything looks like CGI and animated but vodafone has said that they are real and not animated.
