Hyderabad city has 3 railway stations namely, Hyderabad Deccan railway station, Kachiguda railway station and Secunderabad railway station. Hyderabad Deccan railway station, also called Nampally railway station, comes under the Secunderabad division of South Central railways. It is located in the center of the city and sends and receives trains from Hyderabad to all major cities of India. From this station you can easily obtain trains from Hyderabad to Pune and trains from Hyderabad to Ahmedabad.

Secunderabad railway station is basically an intercity railway station that is also the busiest station of South Central zone of the Indian Railways. Beside this, it is also well connected with all the major railway stations of India. From this station you can get trains from Hyderabad to Mumbai and trains from Hyderabad to Kolkata.

Kachiguda railway station is again an intercity railway station that is located on the eastern side of Hyderabad city. From this station you can get trains from Hyderabad to Delhi, trains from Hyderabad to Bangalore and trains from Hyderabad to Chennai.
