Paypal Limited Account

PayPal Limited Account happens when PayPal blocks/limit the account due to "activity" which PayPal think is not legal or is not following their rules and terms of service.

Here are the reasons why PayPal limits Accounts -

1. Multiple Accounts - A person can have 2 PayPal accounts, one personal and one premium and if PayPal finds any more PayPal account having same name and address OR more then 2 accounts with different name/address being accessed from same IP, all accounts will get limited.

2. Country Change - If you change your country and then open the same account, then you will also get the same message of PayPal Account limited. For this, you need to Telephone paypal.

3. Got too much money - PayPal often limits the accounts which have got over $500 or are continuously getting lot of money. For this, you need to verify your account as its the only way to resolve the issue.

4. Paypal Chargeback - If some buyer files for a chargeback, then PayPal will immediately make your account limited.

Do note that PayPal only limits those accounts which are unverified, so its always better to verify your account as soon as possible. PayPal will NOT change the status of your limited status until you send your identity and address info and fill the credit card info in paypal website.
