Airtel is offering 512 Kbps unlimited speed for Rs 1650 (approx) including VAT Tax.

I have used both 512 kbps and 256 kbps plan of airtel and here is my review about it.

1. In 256 plan cost around Rs 750 so this 512 kbps is double of that.

2. In terms of speed, I have not seen any difference at all. Youtube videos load with pretty much same speed. While talking to Airtel they said that they can't take responsibility for youtube videos as its not standard way of checking speed.

3. When I checked my speed with speedtest, it gave upload speed more then download speed. It was showing 200 kbps as download speed and 300 kbps as upload speed, now for me its useless to have such high upload speed as I don't use torrents or any such file.

so overall, I will just say if you have excessive money, then you can go with 512 kbps airtel broadband plan or else, you may want to stick with 256 kbps and save some Rupees 700 as their is not much speed different between both plans anyway
