Review of SItepoint Forum

SitePoint forum is one of the biggest webmaster forum of net which is more then 10 years old (it started back in 1997).

I am a member of SP (as popularly known as) forum for the past 3 years now so I guess I can write a detailed review of it.

Review of Sitepoint Forum

1. Sitepoint is a huge marketplace which is its biggest asset and unlike digitalpoint it is not free, so the amout of serious buyers is way high as compared to other forums.

2. Sitepoint has good moderators and have good knowledgeable crowd though the moderators seems to be ban happy. As it always happens, when the forums get too big and the moderators are not paid, often the members paid for it by getting banned.

3. My biggest complaint is that repetitive book selling popup as well as sitepoint spamming your email boxes with their spam advertisements. Everytime when you logs in, you see that useless popup and clicking never show it again also don't help much.

4. Since I am reviewing sitepoint, so let me review their marketplace too (I may review it separately too). I think sitepoint marketplace is the biggest marketplace of the net for selling websites and sitepoint has done alot to make it a better place to work with by adding lot of features. The only downfall is you need to pay $20 for every listing.

So overall I will give 7.5 out of 10 to sitepoint forum
